Week 1- June 24-28th

-BACKYARD BUGS AND POLLINATOR FRIENDS:

Each child will make a set of wings to use during their camp week and take home.

If they would like to they will have the opportunity to create drawings and paintings inspired by the bugs they find and the nature environment. This week is full of outdoor play while exploring different kinds of bugs and artistic mediums (2D and 3D).  Our backyards are full of the most beautiful tiny creatures. Especially in the garden in summer! Little Acorn Schools play yard and gardens are a little haven full of the most beautiful little creatures and each one deserves to be understood. In this camp week, children will explore and learn about different kinds of bugs and pollinators. They will have the opportunity to examine them up close. as well as  - PARENTS PROVIDE A DAILY SNACK AND LUNCH. (The typical hot meal program we offer during our school year does not lend itself to a larger group of children and the hot summer weather.)

week 2- JULY 29-August 2nd

-PASTA FOR DAYZZZZZZ:

This is a week full of outdoor play while exploring the joys of making fresh, homemade gluten pasta and gluten based stuffed ravioli. Children will learn how to make pasta dough, roll it, shape it, stuff it with fillings of their choice and bring it home to share with their families? We provide the ingredients for the pasta (both with/ without egg). Families provide the stuffing for their child's ravioli based on their individual allergies.-- PARENTS PROVIDE A DAILY SNACK AND LUNCH.

(The typical hot meal program we offer during our school year does not lend itself to a larger group of children and the hot summer weather.)
